Privacy and security
GetInsta never asks for your Instagram username, password, or cookies, so there is no account of yours for it to mishandle. The link you paste is used only to find the media, and the file is passed through to your browser and not kept on our servers afterward. Download links are short-lived and signed, and the server only ever fetches from Instagram's own domains.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the service free. Neither receives the links you paste. The Privacy Policy explains the cookies involved and how to opt out of personalized ads.

Why did my link fail?
Usually the account is private, the post was deleted, the link was cut off when copied, or Instagram changed how it serves that content. Re-copy the link from the post and try again.
