Multi-photo carousel posts are only partially supported today: GetInsta reliably detects the first image in a carousel through Instagram's public page data, but consistently detecting every item in the carousel isn't something we can currently guarantee. Rather than guess, we show exactly what we found.

Will this catch every photo in a carousel post?

Not always. Instagram doesn't reliably expose every carousel item in the public page data we're allowed to read without logging in, so GetInsta currently surfaces the primary image with an honest result rather than fabricating additional items.

What format will I get?

Whatever format Instagram's CDN actually serves for that image — typically JPEG.
