DMCA & Copyright
Every piece of media on Instagram belongs to whoever created it or holds rights to it. GetInsta does not claim ownership of, host, or store any content processed through the service — it acts only as a technical intermediary that fetches a public URL you provide and streams the response back to your own browser. Nothing is retained on GetInsta's servers afterward.
Your responsibility as a user
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to download and use any content you retrieve through GetInsta. This typically means the content is your own, or its owner has explicitly given you permission. Downloading someone else's content without permission can infringe their copyright even when the content is publicly viewable on Instagram — public visibility is not the same thing as a license to reuse.
No affiliation with Instagram
Instagram, the Instagram logo, and related marks are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. GetInsta is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta, and does not use Instagram's logo or branding anywhere on this site.
Submitting a copyright complaint
Because GetInsta does not store or host media — every file is streamed live from a public Instagram URL directly to the requesting browser and never persisted — there is nothing sitting on our servers to remove for any specific piece of content. If you believe GetInsta's own functionality (rather than a specific downloaded file, which we never keep a copy of) infringes a right you hold, send a written complaint to support@getinsta.buzz that includes:
- Your name and a way to contact you
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is affected
- The specific Instagram URL(s) or GetInsta page(s) involved
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
We review every complaint we receive at that address and respond as promptly as we can.
Counter-notifications
GetInsta does not host content and therefore has no takedown-and-restore workflow to counter-notify against — there is no file removed from our servers to reinstate, since none is ever stored. If you believe you received a complaint about your own content in error, contact us at the address above and explain the situation; we'll look into it.
