By using GetInsta, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Acceptable use
GetInsta is intended solely for downloading Instagram content that is publicly accessible and that you own or have explicit permission to download. You are responsible for confirming you have the rights necessary to download and use any content you retrieve through this service — see the DMCA & Copyright page for more.
Public content only
GetInsta never asks for, stores, or uses an Instagram login of any kind, so it can only ever process content Instagram already serves to a logged-out visitor. It is not designed or intended to access private accounts or login-required content, and any attempt to use it for that purpose is outside its intended use.
Prohibited use
- Downloading content you do not own or do not have permission to use
- Attempting to access private or restricted Instagram content
- Using the service to violate any applicable law or a third party's rights
- Attempting to overwhelm, abuse, or circumvent the service's rate limits, security controls, or other technical protections — including automated or scripted use designed to bypass request limits, scrape the service at scale, or place unusual load on it
Dependency on a third-party platform
GetInsta's functionality depends entirely on Instagram continuing to serve public pages in a way our tooling can read. Instagram may change its site, restrict access, or take other action at any time, entirely outside our control, which can affect or break GetInsta's functionality without notice. We are not responsible for changes Instagram makes to its own platform.
No Instagram affiliation
GetInsta is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Intellectual property
GetInsta's own branding, design, and underlying code belong to its operator. This does not extend to any Instagram content processed through the service — GetInsta claims no ownership over media you download, and you remain responsible for respecting the rights of whoever created or owns it.
Service availability
GetInsta is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime, response time, or continued availability of any particular feature. The service may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time, including specific content types (as already documented on the Supported Content page) if they become impractical or unreliable to support.
No warranty
GetInsta is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Instagram may change its website at any time in ways that affect what GetInsta can retrieve; we do not guarantee that any particular piece of content, or any feature, will always be available or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetInsta and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of data, loss of access, or misuse of downloaded content by a user. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms and to the service
These terms, and the service itself, may be updated from time to time. Continued use of GetInsta after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
